Madonna Catholic Regional School serves the families residing in the small communities of the entire Mid-Mon Valley area, southeast of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Madonna Catholic was established in 1998 and is subsidized by the parishes of Our Lady of the Valley in Donora, St. Damien of Molokai in Monongahela, and Mary, Mother of the Church in Charleroi.

schoolfrontMCRS continues to thrive and offers a variety of programs for students in Preschool through Grade Eight based on a curriculum established by the Diocese of Pittsburgh and the State of Pennsylvania.

Madonna Catholic Regional School in the Diocese of Pittsburgh is under the jurisdiction of the Secretary of Education for the Diocese, assisted by a Superintendent and a staff of Educational Consultants.

The pastors of the three parishes are involved in the guidance of the school. A School Advisory Council includes the pastor and two laypersons, selected by the pastor, from each of the three parishes. They meet regularly as consultants to the principal.

The principal oversees the day-to-day operation of the school and is responsible for implementation of the policies and procedures of Madonna Catholic Regional School.
